Teacher and Teaching Assistant
(Digital Art/ Digital Music/ Coding/ Robotics)

We are the one of the world’s leading mobile app developer and publisher of games, edutainment products and utility apps.  As part of our expansion into the educational technology market, we are setting up a learning lab to teach digital education to children aged between 5 - 13 years.

 

We are now recruiting Teachers and Teaching Assistants for our learning lab.  Fundamentally, we are looking for coders, artists, musicians, mechanical engineers etc, who have a passion to teach children and who can help develop products that teach children these skills. The incumbents will also work in partnership with our engineers, artists, designers and other instructors, to develop and publish apps and educational content to enhance our educational product line.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop progressive curriculums for coding, digital art, digital music and robotics classes for children aged from 5 to 13 years.

  • Prepare teaching materials, activities, projects and coursework for digital classes.

  • Record, coordinate and manage the R&D as part of the development of educational apps and products, meeting expectations on time and quality.

  • Schedule and run project activities with internal teams of engineers, artists, game designers and QA, throughout the lifecycle of mobile app development.

 

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline

  • Knowledge of academic systems and curricula used (preferably worldwide), particularly in STEM, STEAM, coding and other digital education

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in education

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills is essential

  • Prior working experience in digital product development is desirable

  • Knowledge in music is a plus

  • Understanding of the mobile app and game development process, as well as the techniques of design, art, programming, audio/video, and QA, is a bonus but not a must

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience in giving feedback to parents and other stakeholders

  • Candidates who meet some of these expectations will be considered for the Teaching Assistant role

  • 5 days work and some additional Saturdays

  • Full time / part time positions available
