Not your typical company

Outblaze has a flat organizational structure, which means there are few levels between the most junior staff and the top senior manager. We like to keep company structure simple to:

  • reduce excess management

  • improve coordination and communication between employees

  • maximize the responsibility of all employees

  • promote employee involvement in decision-making

There’s no dress code and your work space is yours to customize however you wish.

Benefits of a start-up, none of the disadvantages

Work is better when it's fun, so we have videogames, couches and a relaxed office. We hold company outings, seasonal parties, and even "cinema days", in which we get time off work to see a current film at the state-of-the-art digital cinema on campus. We work in a competitive and fast-paced industry, so we offer flexible office hours and home office options.

If this all sounds like a start-up company, you might be surprised to learn that Outblaze was founded in 1998. We've been through a lot and we know what works and what doesn't. We are fun and informal like a start-up company, but we have none of the disadvantages: we are profitable, our businesses are successful and established, we have modern offices, and we offer great employee benefits (see below).

Modern, beautiful facilities

Our headquarters are in the Cyberport complex, and this is where the action happens. Here we develop award-winning digital goods that are used by millions of people around the planet.

The Cyberport is well connected to the rest of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, with public transport options to Central in as fast as 15 minutes and to Aberdeen in 5 minutes. Outblaze also provides free company transportation from Cyberport to Sheung Wan, Yaumatei and Mongkok KCRC station.
